Job Summary
Implement Uncommon's curriculum and activities to meet high academic standards while analyzing assessments to differentiate instruction. Create a positive, structured learning environment that reinforces core values and high expectations. Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues, and participate in grade-level activities and school-wide functions throughout the year. Commit to continual professional growth through annual staff orientation and ongoing instructional training. Support student learning by focusing on critical thinking and strategic responses to individual needs. Required Qualifications
- Belief in and alignment with Uncommon's core beliefs and educational philosophy is a must
- Candidates must have received a Bachelor's degree from a college or university before employment begins
- Candidates must have also earned a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.75 or higher by the time employment begins

- Minimum of two years teaching experience in an urban public school or charter school setting preferred
- Valid State Certification and Master's degree are helpful but not required
