Job Summary
Implement curricula and activities to meet high academic standards. Analyze assessments to measure progress and differentiate instructional practices based on data. Maintain a positive, structured learning environment that upholds the school’s core values and expectations. Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues. Commit to ongoing professional growth through annual staff orientation training in August and instructional training throughout the year. Participate in grade-level activities and school-wide functions, collaborating with teammates to support urban youth and families. Strong candidates demonstrate motivation, teamwork, and a passion for serving K-12 students in urban communities; relevant academic subjects mastery and alignment with Uncommon’s educational philosophy are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a college or university before employment begins
- GPA 2.75 or higher by the time employment begins
