Job Summary
Support business development efforts and strategic pursuits to help win new work while overseeing K-12, Higher Education, and Municipal project teams in coordination with the Studio Head. Represent the firm at industry conferences and participate in studio management discussions to build and maintain client relationships. Mentor architectural staff while managing projects and workflows from business development through construction administration, overseeing project design, documentation, and production. Requires a Licensed Architect in Virginia or Maryland with 10+ years of relevant experience. Salary ranges from $144,000 to $174,000 plus benefits and incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Architect in Virginia or Maryland
- 10+ years of architectural experience with K-12, Higher Education, or Municipal projects
- Experience managing projects from business development through construction administration
- Experience mentoring both experienced and junior staff
- Strong knowledge of K-12, Higher Education, and Municipal design principles and project delivery
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively with staff, clients, and consultants
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
