Job Summary
Head Coach for Field Hockey at Governor Livingston High School under Berkeley Heights Public Schools. Responsible for providing instruction, direction, and leadership to student-athletes in the Field Hockey program; collaborates with the Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics and the Assistant Coach to implement a comprehensive athletic curriculum and competition plan; ensures compliance with all certification requirements (New Jersey Teaching or Substitute Certification), maintains appropriate background clearances, and upholds citizenship/employment eligibility standards. The role requires demonstrating sport-specific expertise, program leadership, and a commitment to the educational goals of the district while fostering safe, competitive athletic growth for students.
Required Qualifications
- New Jersey Teaching or Substitute Certification
- Bachelor's Degree
- Sports-specific training/experience
- Criminal History Clearance
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization
