Job Summary
Lead the JV Girls Basketball program at Northern High School, developing and communicating clear goals for the team and individual players, coaching basketball skills, fostering discipline and sportsmanship, maintaining open communication with students, parents, and athletic staff, promoting student-athlete conduct, ensuring a safe and healthy environment, and supporting students’ academic responsibilities. The role emphasizes leadership, player development, and collaboration among coaches, with a flexible time commitment and seasonal employment. The position operates under Forest Hills Public Schools policies and involves working with the athletic director and principal to advance the program and student growth.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills with parents and students required
- Basketball and/or coaching experience preferred
- First aid and CPR knowledge preferred
