Job Summary
JV Girls Basketball Head Coach responsible for developing players, establishing clear goals for the team and individuals, promoting sportsmanship and discipline, and maintaining open communication with students, parents, other coaches, and the Athletic Director. duties include developing basketball skills, creating a positive self-image and teamwork, enforcing conduct policies, aligning with district policies, and ensuring a safe, healthy environment for student athletes. Must be available for a flexible schedule and maintain consistent attendance. Seasonal, part-time role within Forest Hills Public Schools with duties that may include coordinating practices, game plans, and coordinating with administration.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills with parents and students
- Basketball and/or coaching experience preferred
- First aid and CPR knowledge preferred
- Ability to commit to a flexible time commitment
