Job Summary
Develop and communicate clear goals for the JV Girls Tennis team, while cultivating individual skills and fostering an environment of discipline, sportsmanship, and self-esteem. Maintain open, honest communication with students, parents, and the Athletic Director, and enforce the student-athlete code of conduct to support academic expectations. Establish a safe, healthy team atmosphere that connects athletic experiences with life lessons, modeling good sportsmanship and demonstrating leadership best practices specific to the sport and age group. Commit to a flexible schedule with consistent attendance, and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills with parents and students
- Ability to commit to a flexible time commitment
- Consistent and reliable attendance
- The employee will remain free of any alcohol or drugs throughout his/her employment with the district
Desired Qualifications
- Tennis and/or coaching experience
- First aid and CPR knowledge
