Job Summary
The Athletic Coach at Newmarket Junior-Senior High School is responsible for supervising the safety of players, organizing daily practice routines, coaching skill development, developing team strategies, enforcing rules, mentoring student athletes in character and citizenship, monitoring grades and conduct, coordinating schedules and transportation for events, and managing equipment, facilities, and emergency procedures. The role involves coaching staff and volunteers, maintaining program discipline and safety, and supporting athletic administration over a single-season assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet Coaches Eligibility criteria established by NHIAA
- Ongoing and continuing education and training as required or recommended by NHIAA
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- At least a high school diploma
- Subject to criminal background checks
- Conditional hire pending successful criminal records check
