Job Summary
Conduct daily practices, schedule games, and coach at matches for the JV basketball team while overseeing conditioning workouts and compiling statistics. Administer basic first aid, drive to away games and practices using a school-provided van, and fulfill other duties as required. Must possess competitive basketball experience at the junior high, high school, or collegiate level, along with a demonstrated competency in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Requires a Bachelor's degree, current driver's license, and ability to operate the van for student-athlete transport. In-season compensation ranges from $5,268 to $7,096, with pre-season rates at $63.28 per hour if needed.
Required Qualifications
- Previous competitive basketball experience at the junior high/high school or collegiate level
- Demonstrated competency in diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience coaching basketball teams
- Ability to operate a school-provided van to transport student-athletes to away games, practices, or other school-sanctioned events as needed
- Current driver's license
