Job Summary
Provide direct care to clients in the Juvenile Justice Program, including supporting clients in daily activities, counseling, advocacy services, and conducting regular group meetings. Responsibilities also include supervising resident movement and behavior, orientation for new residents, and ensuring a safe environment. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and be comfortable in a locked facility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Comfortable working in a locked facility
- Must have a vehicle for work use and current driver's license
- Ability to complete medication administration training
- Complete and pass background record screening process
- Available for 3 weeks of DYS basic training academy during the day
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of adolescent behavioral dynamics
- Passion for working with teenagers
- Previous experience in a secure setting
