Job Summary
Provide supervision to juveniles under court jurisdiction or those unable to return home at any time as needed. Transport juveniles as directed by Family Division referees or caseworkers, conduct holdovers at designated sites, and manage home detention services. Adhere to the Regional Detention Support Services Handbook from the State of Michigan's Department of Health and Human Services. Immediately report emergencies regarding youth to the Juvenile Court on-call worker and probation officer after regular hours. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and prior experience with at-risk youth.
Required Qualifications
- A valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a criminal history check
- Must be able to pass a DHHS Central Registry check
