Junior Writer

Entry-level Proposal Writer at ExplorUS to lead the creation of compelling bids for concession contracts across national, state, and local parks, as well as campground and marina operations. Responsibilities include reviewing RFPs, assisting in drafting proposal content, meeting internal milestones and agency deadlines, researching data to support writing tasks, gathering and analyzing market trends, meeting with senior staff and subject matter experts to collect information, ensuring proposal documents are complete, compliant, and professionally formatted according to RFP instructions, and adhering to solicitation requirements. Requires strong written and verbal communication, excellent attention to detail, ability to maintain confidentiality, experience with AI tools to assist in creative writing, and proficiency in Microsoft Word. Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Communications, Journalism, Business, Public Affairs, Public Administration or related field. Experience: Prior experience in proposal writing, government contracting, or related writing-focused roles preferred.
