Job Summary
Follow weekly visual merchandising briefs to create window and in-store displays that maximize profitability through creative product placement. Attract and engage customers using advanced visual techniques while alternating mannequins, displays, and windows according to seasonal and retail calendar events. Set up and monitor in-store promotions via POS, analyze Oracle figures for product placement and floor moves, and provide training on merchandising standards. Communicate visual activity feedback to the Town Merchandiser and ensure strict adherence to JD Standards, hygiene, and safety protocols. This part-time role at South Centre Mall supports the JD Group's strategy of delivering authentic brands to a diverse, globally minded consumer base.
Required Qualifications
- Retail experience of a minimum of six months
- Willing to have a flexible schedule
- Openness to feedback and a willingness to learn
- Excellent Time Management Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Visual Merchandising experience is considered an asset
