Job Summary
Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, digital campaigns, websites, and client marketing initiatives across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Create basic motion graphics, titles, captions, and animations using Adobe After Effects while organizing, ingesting, and managing raw footage and project assets. Select and assemble footage to tell compelling stories, edit audio and sound effects, and source stock media to maintain brand standards. Collaborate with producers, creative directors, and account teams to execute concepts, participate in brainstorming, and stay current on platform specifications and social trends. Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3 years of professional video editing experience (agency experience is a plus)
- Experience creating content for social media platforms
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Working knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite
- Understanding of video codecs, compression, exporting, and platform specifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to receive feedback and continuously improve creative work
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating in a Mac environment preferred
- Experience shooting video content for social media
- Basic color correction and audio mixing skills
- Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve is a plus
- Knowledge of current social media trends, creators, and best practices
- Portfolio demonstrating video editing and social content work
