Job Summary
Lead and develop the Junior Varsity girls volleyball program at Raymond High School for the 2026 season. The Head Coach will plan and run quality practices, emphasize skill development and strategy, prepare the team for interscholastic competition, and mentor student-athletes while upholding school and league policies. Responsibilities include game preparation, player evaluation, team management, athlete mentorship, safety/compliance, community engagement, and effective communication with players, families, and colleagues. Flexible hours including evenings and weekends are required, with bus travel for away games. Coaching certification or ability to obtain certification is required or preferred; prior coaching experience and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are desired.
Required Qualifications
- Coaching certification or ability to obtain certification (upon request)
- Successful prior coaching experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of the rules, strategies, and techniques of volleyball
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes
- Demonstrated organizational and leadership abilities
