Job Summary
Framingham Public Schools seeks a Junior Varsity Field Hockey Coach to provide strategic leadership, technical instruction, and holistic mentorship to student-athletes within the Framingham High School athletic program. The coach will foster a safe, inclusive, and competitive environment that prioritizes student-athlete health, academic success, and character growth; deliver high-quality instruction, manage practice design, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with MIAA regulations and district policies. Requirements include MIAA coaching certifications (CPR/First Aid and concussion training); High School Diploma required with Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2–4 years of playing/coaching experience; bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must possess or be willing to obtain MIAA-required coaching certifications, including CPR/First Aid and Concussion Training
- Experience: 2–4 years of successful experience in playing and/or coaching the specific sport beyond high school graduation
