Job Summary
Collaborate with Partners to ensure client work is completed timely, leading the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and SMSFs. Prepare Business Activity Statements, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG for diverse clients while liaising with statutory authorities on their behalf. Deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations, offer support and training to junior team members, and participate in training seminars and social events. Work under the direct coaching of an experienced Partner to manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
- Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
- Experience using accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB, Xero and QuickBooks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
