Job Summary
Develop ThingWorx applications by modeling data structures, building mashups with standard widgets, and implementing business logic using JavaScript and Java. Execute SQL CRUD operations, deploy applications with guidance, and interpret shop-floor data within manufacturing environments. Translate documented business requirements into functional solutions while collaborating with stakeholders. Work five days a week in Airoli, Mumbai, under defined standards with a focus on learning Industrial IoT concepts.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with ThingWorx Foundation
- Good understanding of ThingWorx data modeling (Things, Thing Templates, Thing Shapes, Properties, Services)
- Experience in ThingWorx Mashup development
- Working knowledge of standard widgets (charts, trends, tables, data export)
- Understanding of when and where to use specific widgets
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and Java for ThingWorx services
- Ability to implement basic business logic in ThingWorx services
- Working experience with SQL CRUD operations using queries and stored procedures
- Ability to deploy ThingWorx applications with guidance
- Basic understanding of manufacturing environments and shop-floor data
- Ability to understand documented business requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with PLC / SCADA / HMI concepts
- Awareness of OPC UA / Modbus TCP/IP integration
- Exposure to Kepware tag modeling and data flow
- Experience integrating with SQL databases, APIs, flat files, Excel
- Introductory exposure to ThingWorx Analytics
- Introductory exposure to ThingWorx Flow
- Basic knowledge of Python scripting
- Awareness of ThingWorx platform upgrade and maintenance concepts
- Exposure to manufacturing use cases (monitoring, trends, comparisons)
