Junior Technology Lawyer | Client Contracting

Job Summary
Technology contracts are at the core of this role: provide trusted and pragmatic advice on technology client contracting matters, drafting and negotiating a range of technology-related agreements (Master/Framework Services Agreements, Technology-specific Services Agreements, Subcontract Agreements, Licence Agreements, Reseller Agreements, and Statements of Work). Conduct legal analysis and risk assessment on commercial arrangements and legal obligations; follow escalation protocols and consult senior lawyers as required. Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to deliver focused solutions that address legal risk; develop and deliver training to internal stakeholders; contribute to practice innovation and digitisation efforts. Requires a minimum of 1 year PQE in technology or commercial law, with post-admission contracting, data, and IP experience, and strong drafting and stakeholder-management capabilities. Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year PQE with a technology or commercial law background
- Post-admission experience in contracting, data, and IP, ideally in private practice or in-house
- Strong technical knowledge in one or more areas of commercial contracting
- Experience and confidence in dealing with stakeholders
- Drafting clear and precise legal documents and communications
- Ability to identify and assess legal risks and communicate risks and impacts to the business
- Strong interpersonal and commercial skills
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and projects
- Genuine interest in practice innovation and digitisation
