Job Summary
Set up and adjust forging machines to ensure optimal performance and product quality. Operate forging equipment to shape and form metal or plastic materials to specifications. Monitor machine operations and adjust settings to maintain quality. Inspect finished products for conformity to specifications and identify defects. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and document production processes with performance metrics. Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and reduce downtime.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating forging equipment or similar manufacturing machinery
- Ability to set up and adjust forging machines to specification
- Attention to quality control and defect identification
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment
- Adherence to safety procedures and cleanroom-like standards where applicable
