Job Summary
Junior Technical Sales Representative grows a designated territory by establishing and nurturing business relationships with prospective and existing clients; conducts regular sales calls under senior supervision, uses a consultative approach to assess customer requirements, and supports upsell/cross-sell opportunities. Responsible for building long-term client and supplier relationships, addressing inquiries, contributing to sales and gross margin targets, introducing and demonstrating new products, reporting market trends and competitive insights, collaborating with suppliers on joint sales calls, attending sales meetings and product demonstrations, and preparing quotes and proposals while assisting in negotiations. Requires travel within the assigned territory, proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint, CRM usage, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and customer focus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2- or 4-year college degree preferred
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor with integrity and accountability
- Experience in sales preferred but not required
