Junior Technical Project Manager

Job Summary
Junior Technical Project Manager responsible for leading pharmaceutical and industrial projects from early FEL phases through commissioning and handover. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, EHS, Quality, Finance, Maintenance, Procurement) to deliver projects such as equipment renewal and building modifications, typically handling two small-to-medium projects per year with budgets around €1–2 million. Develop and manage detailed project plans (timelines, budgets, resources, milestones, risk assessments), coordinate internal and external teams, define measurable goals, maintain accountability, and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders. Identify and mitigate project risks, monitor performance with KPIs, manage budgets and resources, ensure quality and safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement in project procedures in collaboration with Engineering & Services and project teams. Requires HBO-level education, 2+ years’ experience in industrial implementation projects (pharma/food preferred), fluency in Dutch and English, and strong communication with both senior management and technical staff.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in industrial implementation projects (pharma or food industry preferred)
- Experience with both architectural projects and technical system installations
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- Self-driven and proactive
- Strong focus on quality and safety
- Able to prioritize effectively
- Service- and customer-oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Able to communicate with senior management and technical staff
- 2+ years experience in project execution planning and budget control
- Laboratory, GMP or Pharma environment experience desirable
- Bachelor/Polytechnic level education (HBO)
