Junior Technical Operator (Night Shift)

Job Summary
Finalise localised film and entertainment content for international distribution, including graphics insertion, subtitling, and dubbed audio layback. Encode and transcode files according to broadcast and online formats while producing outputs that meet specific technical standards. Edit TV spot cutdowns, social media, and promo content, then upload and download assets to bespoke digital platforms. Liaise with operations teams, client services, and external stakeholders to turn around projects with accurate outputs and tight deadlines. Work independently on shifts from 22:30 to 07:00 Sunday through Thursday, applying problem-solving skills to maintain accuracy on sensitive worldwide projects.
Required Qualifications
- Capable using Adobe Premiere Pro independently
- Experience of working with digital video formats, technical specifications, and encoding/transcoding
- Basic knowledge of online video formats and deliverables
- Basic knowledge of broadcast video formats and deliverables
- Awareness of Adobe Media Encoder and Adobe Audition
- Ability to work independently on shift
- Main hours for this role are 22:30 - 07:00 Sunday to Thursday
- Ability to work to a quick turnaround
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using Clipster preferred
- Experience with DCP creation and packaging preferred
