Job Summary
Junior Technical Operator on an early shift at a London-based digital media agency. You will be responsible for finalising localized film/entertainment content for international distribution, encoding/transcoding files to various broadcast and online formats, creating DCP packages, editing TV spot cutdowns and social media/promotional content, subtitling and dubbing as needed, and uploading/downloading content to/from digital asset management platforms. You will liaise with operations, client services, and clients to ensure accurate outputs delivered on tight deadlines. The role requires the ability to work independently on shifts (06:30–15:00) and adapt to a potential 24-hour rota, with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Capable using Adobe Premiere Pro independently
- Experience using Clipster and/or Transkoder
- Experience with DCP creation and packaging
- Experience of working with digital video formats, technical specifications, and encoding/transcoding
- Basic knowledge of online video formats and deliverables
- Basic knowledge of broadcast video formats and deliverables
- Awareness of Adobe Media Encoder and Adobe Audition
- Ability to work independently on shift. Main hours for this role are 06:30 - 15:00
- Ability to work to a quick turnaround
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
