Job Summary
Create and update technical packages, including construction sketches, garment specifications, and measurement charts. Participate in fit sessions by taking notes, measuring garments, and applying corrections based on feedback. Communicate with factories and vendors to ensure accurate sample development and resolve technical issues. Review prototypes and production samples to verify they meet design intent, quality, and fit standards. Maintain digital and physical sample libraries, fabric swatches, and trim materials. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflows and timeline adherence. Utilize Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for documentation. Stay updated on industry trends, fabric innovations, and garment construction techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Technology, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in apparel technical design or an internship in a similar role
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel
- Understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and grading
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
