Job Summary
Junior Tariff Automation & Analytics Specialist manages tariff structures and drives automation initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of tariff-related processes. The role combines day-to-day tariff maintenance with automation projects, leveraging AI tools, data analytics, and reporting solutions to optimize tariff management, pricing analysis, quotation processes, and revenue performance tracking. It involves modernizing tariff operations through continuous process improvement and digital innovation, leading automation projects related to tariff management, identifying manual activities, and designing automated workflows. Documentation of automation processes, workflows, and best practices is required. The position supports tariff data accuracy, pricing adjustments, and performance monitoring, and develops automated reports and dashboards to analyze tariffs, pricing, revenue, and profitability. The role emphasizes data integrity, governance, and cross-functional collaboration on digital transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar reporting and analytics tools
- Familiarity with AI-powered productivity and automation tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Power Automate, RPA platforms)
- Basic understanding of databases, data structures, and automation workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
