Job Summary
Support cybersecurity engineering requirements and authorization processes including FedRAMP and RMF. Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of secure IT and Cloud-based systems. Assist with systems engineering activities for large-scale federal and commercial Cloud solutions. Participate in Federal Assessment & Authorization (A&A) and Authority to Operate (ATO) activities. Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity policies, processes, and standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet evolving system and security requirements. This part-time role requires 18 hours per week, a $36.06/hour rate, and a mid-level background investigation. Candidates need an associate or bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related fields, plus IAT I, IAM I, and IASAE I certifications. At least one year of experience in federal cybersecurity or cloud security is required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Information Security, Information Resource Management, or a related field
- IAT I certification
- IAM I certification
- IASAE I certification
- Minimum of 2 years of overall experience
- At least 1 year in Cybersecurity or Cloud Security within a U.S. Government agency
- Practical knowledge of federal IT security standards and frameworks
- Must be able to pass a mid-level background investigation

- Experience preferably of similar size/scope to DoD or VA
