Job Summary
Develop mission-critical, NSA-certified cybersecurity devices by conducting requirements analysis, functional analysis, performance analysis, and systems design for custom in-house software. Execute system integration, testing, and debugging while deriving specifications into software design, code, and test plans. Manage long development lifecycles requiring regular technology refreshes and trade studies, utilizing Systems and Test tools in lab environments. Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation within the Dedham Cyber Engineering team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Agile experience
- Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Full Stack experience
- Extensive experience with DOORs
- Linux
- Networking experience including Layer 2 and Layer 3
- Experience working in a fast-paced product development environment
- Passion for designing complicated systems and working on problems of diverse scope
- Ability to define the scope, schedule, and expectations for the work you execute
- Shows initiative on assignments and executes projects with little guidance and can provide technical direction and leadership
- Ability to write CONOPS, Specifications or Requirements and derive into software design, code, test plans, and then execute Systems level testing/debugging
- Proficiency with Systems and Test tools supporting testing in a lab environment
- Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
