Job Summary
Junior Systems Engineer to own day-to-day administration of IT systems and infrastructure from Manila, supporting US business hours and collaborating with UK-based infrastructure. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware and software, ensuring system stability, security, and data integrity, acting as an escalation point for End User Services, and delivering upgrades with cross-team coordination. Requires 3–5 years of IT experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; proficiency across Windows, macOS, Linux, Microsoft 365/Cloud Suite, Google Workspace, Jira/Confluence, GitLab, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS, Intune, JAMF, scripting (Terraform, PowerShell), SSL/certificates, and familiarity with ITSM frameworks; strong communication and ability to work independently during US business hours after a UK-led training period.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of relevant experience and/or a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Systems, or a related field
- Certification(s) preferred (e.g., CompTIA A+, Security+)
