Job Summary
Perform ACAS/SCAPs to identify vulnerabilities and apply patches, while building, maintaining, and hardening Windows workstations and laptops. Upgrade and configure data systems, administer operating systems, and maintain security and recovery procedures including scheduling and backups. Install, configure, and support the local area network, wide area network, and Internet systems, administering network security measures. Gather documentation for submittal to the ISSO for ATO approvals on EMASS IDs 12900 and 36999. Support 75 users and 125 computer assets, printers, and network connectivity at the Patuxent River NAS facility. Requires an Active Top Secret clearance, CompTIA Security+ certification, and at least one year of system administration experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 years system administration experience
- Knowledge/exposure to ACAS
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- Knowledgeable / proficient in the use of Microsoft operating systems
- Ability to manage / maintain various types of servers and security requirements
- Security conscious in all aspects
- Resourceful / problem solving skills
- Works independently

- Detail oriented
- BS/BA degree and 1 years related experience, OR AA/AS degree and 3 years related experience, OR HS and 5 years related experience
- Active Top Secret required
