Job Summary
Junior Systems Administrator to provide systems administration and IT maintenance for 24/7/365 operations across AFOSC PED sites. Responsibilities include first-tier end-user support for PC/server/mainframe applications and hardware; collaborate with network services and software teams to restore services and fix root causes; reproduce user problems to resolve issues; recommend system modifications to reduce problems; assist with CERP hardware installations; escalate complex problems to intermediate/senior staff; role requires DoD 8570.01 IAT Level 2 and TS/SCI clearance. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and Linux, ITIL, and related technical proficiencies.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- DoD 8570.01 IAT Level 2
- Software/Hardware Troubleshooting
- Microsoft Windows Client and Office
- Network Infrastructure Cabling (Fiber/Copper)
- Disaster Recovery Procedures
- Cross Domain Solutions (CDS)
- Cisco VTC Administration
- TS/SCI Security Clearance
