Junior Systems Administrator

Job Summary
Troubleshoot technical issues for end-user devices, data networks, and telecommunication systems while collaborating with senior administrators to resolve complex challenges. Manage user lifecycle operations, deploy computers, and oversee virtual apps and desktops using the Microsoft stack, including Azure AD, Windows Server, and 365. Apply networking knowledge with Cisco Meraki, TCP/IP, and VPN to maintain infrastructure, utilizing PowerShell scripting and monitoring tools like SolarWinds and Zabbix. Work under pressure as a self-starter to improve technology solutions, communicating technical concepts clearly to support the company's commitment to top-notch service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of relevant experience in desktop support or Jr Systems Admin
- Technical school or college diploma
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft stack (365, Windows 10/Server, Azure AD, etc.)
- Practical experience with networking equipment (Cisco Meraki, TCP/IP, VPN, etc.)
- Experience with user lifecycle management and deploying computers
- Intermediate-level experience with virtual apps/desktops and hypervisors
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Zabbix, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify technical concepts
- Analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Cloud or AWS
- Knowledge of SQL Server and SQL query
- Industry certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, CompTIA, etc.)
- Experience with Zebra scan guns and thermal printers
- Experience with DevOps
