Job Summary
Support the Sustainability Manager in implementing ESG data management, analysis, and reporting, including collecting, validating, and monitoring KPIs across departments. Drive Scope 3 greenhouse gas accounting processes and ensure accuracy of emissions calculations in line with TCFD, GRI, and ESRS standards. Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare sustainability disclosures, and benchmark performance against peers to identify improvement opportunities. Analyze data trends to support decision-making and contribute to the continuous development of company-wide climate targets and decarbonization initiatives. Promote sustainability awareness through training and workshops while acting as a business partner to site teams to embed regulatory requirements into operational processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration (with a focus on sustainability), Energy & Resource Technology, or a related field
- First experience in sustainability roles (or sustainability consulting) in industrial and international business environments
- Knowledge of ESG reporting standards, frameworks, and regulations (e.g. TCFD, GRI, ESRS, GHG Protocol, SBTi, CDP, EU Taxonomy)
- Understanding the differences between Scope 1, 2, and Scope 3 emissions methodologies, data collection, calculations, performance tracking and action plans
- Experience with Product Carbon Footprints (PCF)
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset combined with a high level of ownership and a proactive, solution-oriented working style
- Strong cross-functional stakeholder communication skills
- Excellent written English skills
