Job Summary
Create 2D and 3D architectural construction plans and design documents for interior and exterior retail projects, adapting brand objectives into unique concepts while managing multiple projects concurrently to meet deadlines. Lead onsite field verification and documentation at global retail locations and showrooms to evaluate store conditions, conduct brand education, and inspect construction quality. Specify materials, finishes, and signage; communicate with vendors to distribute purchase orders and prepare contractor punch lists. Review and redline self-created and peer-created construction documents to ensure accuracy and quality standards. Prepare and conduct meetings with internal teams and external clients, cross-train on new project types, and drive continuous quality and process improvement. Perform under strong demands in a fast-paced environment with frequent domestic and international travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field or equivalent work experience
- 4 years in an Interior Design related field (required)
- Proficient knowledge of 3D visualization ability
- working knowledge of the elements and principles of design
- Strong knowledge in AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge in Revit
- Strong Experience with Photoshop
- Strong Experience with Sketch-up
- Strong Experience with Enscape
- Strong Experience with lighting design
- Proven ability to create 2D and 3D design drawings and renderings
- Ability to interpret and understand architectural details and specifications as used in construction documents
- Proficient in building and health codes for compliance
- Experience with and knowledge of retail operations
- Strong visual merchandising skills
