Job Summary
Junior SQA Analyst responsible for defining, implementing, executing, and maintaining test plans, test cases and test automation tools/scripts to ensure software is delivered with high quality. Collaborates with stakeholders to gather input, reviews requirement specifications and design documents to design effective end-to-end and automation tests. Will work in Contour Software's Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad offices as part of the resource-center team, performing functional/feature, integration, load, regression, browser and device testing, building automation frameworks, and conducting manual testing for web, Android, and iOS applications. Requires strong technical background, good communication, ownership over work, and a willingness to learn automation, performance, and security testing over time. Key skills include Selenium/Playwright automation, Java/C#, Git, Azure DevOps, REST API testing (Postman/SoapUI/Rest Assured), SQL, SDLC/STLC understanding, and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or related discipline
- 1-2 years of experience in software QA
- experience with manual and automated testing
- familiarity with Selenium and/or Playwright
- experience with Git and CI/CD concepts
- SQL and test databases
- test automation scripting
- OOP concepts with Java and/or C#
