Job Summary
Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in leading a large kitchen team while driving menu innovation and maintaining high standards. Oversee the kitchen independently in the absence of senior leadership, ensuring guest and team experiences remain at the core of daily operations. Lead by example to keep the team motivated and empowered, delivering top Hoxton experiences through efficient solutions that uphold menu integrity. This role is based at The Hoxton, Holborn's Rondo restaurant, open from breakfast through dinner. The kitchen is led by Chris Gillard, featuring an impressive wine programme curated by Will Lander.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience as a Junior Sous Chef in a busy, bustling environment
- freshness and provenance of ingredients as a key priority
- Proven track record supporting the managing large kitchen teams
- A true passion for creativity whilst maintaining the integrity of our brand standards through the dishes on the menu
- Passion for hospitality
- You're not precious
- You're up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once
- Experience in M&E (meetings and events) or banqueting is beneficial
