Job Summary
Lead shifts in a Marriott kitchen, overseeing production and ensuring culinary standards, sanitation, and staff coordination. Assist in guiding staff across all kitchen areas, including food preparation, ordering, and sanitation; collaborate with Restaurant and Banquet departments to coordinate service and timing; engage in training and performance feedback, contribute to menu development and promotions, and manage inventories and budget to support guest satisfaction and financial objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel and Restaurant Management with related experience
- 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area OR 2-year degree + 2 years experience
