Job Summary
Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in supervising kitchen staff, manage food preparation and production to deliver inspired dishes, uphold food standards and HACCP guidelines, ensure hygiene and safety compliance, drive training and development of kitchen team members, and collaborate with senior chefs to design menus for special offerings that engage both in-house guests and the local community.
Required Qualifications
- Trade qualification in culinary arts
- Food safety certification
- HACCP knowledge and procedures
- Ability to work rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
- Experience as Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in a hotel setting
