Job Summary
Conduct business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses to align technology solutions with business initiatives. Partner with users to define problems and align appropriate technical, application, or configuration solutions. Provide thought leadership related to API integration for automation and workflow delivery, while building architecture best practices and documenting requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Review system test plans and applications to ensure successful test cycles, then partner with end-users to select or create scenarios validating that implemented solutions meet shared requirements. Serve as a functional and technical resource for the project team, establishing Level of Effort and duration estimates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or equivalent practical experience
- Two or more years of business analysis and consulting experience
- Two or more years of experience designing and implementing client-facing solutions
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions, including SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, and FTPS
- Familiarity with multiple languages, including C++, Java, Python Perl, or another programming language
- Experience implementing solutions using API Management Platforms
- Experience in technology architecture and implementation on the ServiceNow platform
- Communicate solution recommendations and influence decision-makers
- Startup mentality with responsibilities for partner management
- Demonstrate experience across all phases of the SDLC and Agile software development practices
- Write design specifications and use appropriate charts and diagrams to illustrate your ideas
- Experience with incident management, service request, problem management, change management, discovery, and configuration management databases (CMDB)
- Experience designing application deployments on public (AWS, Azure) and hybrid cloud setup
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with people from different disciplines and varying degrees of technical experience, at all levels within the organization and with external customers
