Job Summary
Junior Software Engineer with accounting experience to design, develop, and implement software solutions for fintech processes. Role combines software development with domain accounting expertise to improve automation, reconciliation workflows, and financial processes. Collaboration across cross-functional teams to enhance features, ensure compliance with project plans, and deliver high-quality software using Golang, React/React Native, and cloud/Kubernetes tooling. Requires a background in accounting or financial analysis and proficiency in at least one programming language, with experience in backend API development and relational databases. You’ll work through the full development lifecycle, contribute to tool evaluation and deployment, and leverage AI tooling to boost productivity and research.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or related field
- Prior experience as an accountant or financial analyst
- Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go)
- Experience with backend API development
- Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with software engineering tools and release processes
- Demonstrated experience with AI tools (Claude or equivalent) is required
