Junior Software Engineer with accounting background to join a fintech-focused team. You will assist in design, development, and installation of software solutions, write code, and document functionality. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Prior experience as an accountant or financial analyst.
- Solid understanding of financial operations such as reconciliation, reporting, and compliance.
- Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go) and familiar with database systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with backend API development.
- Experience with relational database storage and retrieval.
- Familiarity with software engineering tools, software development methodology, and release processes.
- Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required; candidates must be comfortable leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication.
