Job Summary
Junior Engineer to join our team in Reykjavík, Iceland, working across frontend (TypeScript, React) and backend (Java) to build features used by thousands of tour and activity businesses. You’ll work end-to-end across the stack, collaborating with product, design, and other engineers, writing code daily, and growing your craft. The role emphasizes building for real operators, learning new technologies, and participating in code reviews and pairing. Nice-to-have skills include TypeScript, React, Java, REST APIs, SQL, and experience with relational databases; familiarity with travel/e-commerce domains is a plus. The stack includes TypeScript, React, Next.js, Java, MySQL, OpenSearch, Redis, and AWS SQS, with opportunities to work with AI coding assistants. Required Qualifications
- Computer Science Degree
