Job Summary
Junior Software Engineer at NCR Atleos to develop high-quality software for ATM Recycler/Deposit devices using C/C++. You will work on the Template software that analyzes note image attributes for authenticity, participate in design and implementation of validation functions, and perform simulation/testing on target hardware. Responsibilities include developing software under guidance of senior engineers, analyzing data to develop solutions, preparing technical documentation, participating in peer reviews, estimating development effort with guidance, and maintaining effective communication with developers, QA, and team leads. Requires minimum Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or related field, strong problem-solving and teamwork skills, and experience with C/C++; advantageous familiarity with bug tracking/version control systems. Based in Dundee at the NCR Atleos Discovery Centre R&D site with on-site work in the UK; training provided and opportunities to collaborate with global teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelors Level Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience in software development, preferably C / C++
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Have a strong desire for quality
- Have ability to multi-task
