Job Summary
As a Junior Software Developer in Axis’s Linköping team, you’ll contribute to building and refining our software products across the full stack, collaborate in cross-functional teams, participate in agile ceremonies, and grow your skills with modern development tools (including AI-assisted coding like GitHub Copilot). Responsibilities include designing and implementing features across the full stack, writing well-structured, testable, and maintainable code, participating in code reviews, testing, CI, and driving continuous improvement of development practices, while learning and bringing new ideas to the team.
Required Qualifications
- A relevant engineering degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar
- Some professional or academic experience in software development
- Familiarity with modern programming languages and frameworks (Go, Rust, TypeScript, Node.js)
- Experience with agile or DevOps-oriented teams is a bonus
- Experience with containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) is a bonus
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a bonus
- Interest in or experience with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS) is a bonus
- Experience in using agentic development tools is a bonus
