Job Summary
Junior Software Developer role at Parallax Advanced Research focusing on building and maintaining enterprise-grade software for CAGE and Nauti-CAGE platforms. Responsibilities include implementing enterprise-grade applications, writing efficient, scalable and secure code across multiple languages, leading secure CI/CD design and automation, integrating vulnerability scanning and runtime monitoring, championing secure coding and infrastructure-as-code, developing ML/AI algorithms, handling large-scale datasets, collaborating with data scientists to operationalize ML models, coordinating with cross-functional teams to align software, security, and AI/ML initiatives, and driving innovation with emerging technologies. Requires active TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship; bachelor’s degree in CS or related field with 6+ years of software development experience; proficiency across Python/Java/C++/Go/Rust/JS-TS/SQL/NoSQL; DevSecOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, security scanning); cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP); ML/AI capabilities and frameworks; experience with RAG and multi-step reasoning workflows; travel ~10%; hybrid opportunities available.}.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI Clearance and US Citizenship are required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field with experience (6+ years) in software development
- Programming Languages: Python, Java, C++, Go, Rust, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, NoSQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Matplotlib, OpenCV
- Proficiency with DevSecOps Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, security scanning tools
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP with emphasis on secure deployments and compliance
- Data Science & AI/ML: Feature engineering, model training, hyperparameter tuning, MLOps pipelines
- Architecture and Orchestration Frameworks: RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and Agentic workflows; LangGraph, CrewAI
- 6+ years in software development, with at least 5 years in DevSecOps and AI/ML
- Proven track record of embedding security in software development
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, lead projects, and influence technical direction
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration
- Active TS/SCI Clearance and US Citizenship are required
