Job Summary
Assist the development manager with all aspects of software design and coding, including writing and maintaining code, implementing new features, and responding to team requests. Learn the codebase, improve coding skills, and execute bug fixes while writing unit tests for developer verification. Contribute to company and project development meetings. Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science and knowledge of Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, or React. Base salary is $60,000 to $80,000. Hybrid role with 2-3 days in NYC (Manhattan or Brooklyn); no visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science
- Knowledge of basic coding languages
- Basic programming experience
- Knowledge of databases and operating systems
- Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- 2-3 days a week at the office in NYC - either downtown Manhattan or downtown Brooklyn
