Job Summary
Code, test, debug, and implement custom applications in C# within a .Net environment, utilizing microservices techniques and Angular 2+. Query and join data using TSQL, integrate components across disparate applications, and write technical specifications. Innovate on tools and processes to expedite development goals while collaborating with DevOps, Database, QA, and Analyst teams to ensure successful delivery from testing to deployment. Work in small, complete teams with total ownership of modules, applying ideas across the entire application stack.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field from an accredited U.S. institution
- 0-2 years of professional software development experience
- Working knowledge of C# and the .NET framework and .NET Core
- Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including writing SQL queries and understanding relational database concepts
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and software design fundamentals
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and client/server application architecture
- Basic understanding of debugging, testing, and troubleshooting software applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum development environment
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Candidate must be capable of obtaining a secret security clearance if required for future project assignments
Desired Qualifications
- Internship, co-op, academic, or personal project experience using Angular, C#, or SQL Server
- Familiarity with Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core
- Exposure to Azure DevOps, GitHub, or other CI/CD tools
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest, Jasmine, or Karma)
- Understanding of dependency injection and modern software architecture patterns
- Experience in consuming or developing REST APIs
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Codex, or similar) to improve productivity in coding, debugging, testing, and documentation while validating AI-generated output for accuracy, security, and maintainability
