Junior/ Senior GL Analyst

Job Summary
Maintain general ledger, fixed asset, intercompany, and cash management records by validating, processing, and posting accounting journal entries. Perform balance sheet reconciliation, proactively follow up on aged items, and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting policies. Complete month-end and year-end closing operations, including accruals, prepayments, adjustments, and bank reconciliations. Prepare group reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders while resolving material mismatches with counterparties. Collaborate with AP and AR teams to clear bank items, support cross-functional process improvement initiatives, and address audit queries. Provide guidance on GL work and monitor KPIs to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting entries.
Required Qualifications
- at least a bachelor's degree in accounting
- Strong foundation in accounting concept
- Prior experience in MNC and/or SSC environment
- Around 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting/Record-to-Report team
- MS Office proficiency
- Good command of written and spoken English language
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Technical knowledge and application of accounting standards [IFRS/USGAAP]
- Experience in ERP system, especially SAP
