Junior - Seed Plant Operator

Job Summary
Assist with packaging and handling of seed products, including bagging, tote filling, and applying banding for secure transportation. Operate conveyor belt systems to ensure efficient material flow and utilize a pallet jack to transport materials within the warehouse. Support loading operations by assisting with the safe and efficient loading of trucks while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and yard. Apply seed treatment procedures following proper safety guidelines and maintain accuracy during tote bag filling. Requires a Class 5 Driver's License (Class 3 or 1 considered an asset) and the ability to lift heavy items over 50lbs regularly.
Required Qualifications
- Class 5 Driver's License
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment
- Basic understanding of seed handling, packaging, and treatment process
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (over 50lbs) on a regular basis
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Class 3 or Class 1 driver's license
