Job Summary
Junior Scheduler supports the scheduling team in reviewing contractor baseline schedules and monthly updates for LAUSD projects, preparing and populating schedule-related reports in Excel and P6, creating Earned Value curves per LAUSD EVA templates, and performing QA/QC on contractor submittals to ensure conformance with contract scope and scheduling guidelines. Responsibilities include updating the master program schedule with as-built dates and coordinating with Facilities teams on forecasted start/finish dates, analyzing schedule logic, and maintaining data integrity across program timelines.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year full-time paid professional experience responsible in Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, engineering, or construction management
- Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version (P6 v19) and MS Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff
- Superior organizational and planning skills
